Friday Night Tavern Scenes part 2!

Part 2 to the Friday Tavern Scenes idea! The other option that staff has been throwing around is more or less the same, except

-Still run the full 9 games of the season (We got so many submissions, we really want to run as many as possible)
- And in addition, for a /much/ reduced price (5$? Free if you bring potluck food?), run 2-3 of the Friday Night tavern scenes, still complete with potluck, bardic circle, and story circle.

This idea was born partially

Its very similar to part 1 of the idea, but different enough that we want your opinion on which we should do!
Also, because of this, the release of the schedule for next season will be delayed by one or two days (we were planning to have it out this weekend), until we have heard back from most of the community, and you all have given us your input! So please, get back to us quickly!

thanks everyone,
Westfinder Staff

  1. I'm definitely down for cramming as much as we can into next season. My vote goes to running as many bootlegs as we can, and interdispersing cheaper, simpler tavern scenes in between. (Oh and a lot over winter break.)

  2. this seems better than the previous idea; i'd STILL like to run at least one tavern scene over the summer, before bootlegs start, both as a community-builder and to keep people in practice for improv. it would also be cool to have another community day before the beginning of the season, as the previous one was badly placed--right before finals--for a bunch of people.

  3. We would like to have one too, David! However, we can't, until we have the buisness with finding RegCo sorted out. We're still looking for potential applicants, so if you know /anyone/ who might be interested, tell them to contact us!

  4. I like this idea. More events = more fun and hanging out.
To Reed: have staff put up advertisements on places like Craigslist or Monster?
