Hey guys! We're up for some end-of-year schedule changes.
Due to various circumstances, Will Parsons' game The Dreaming will not be this year. It may yet get run next year, though--it's a totally awesome game that we all very much want to play.
This leaves us a number of options of what to do for the end of the year, and we'd love to get your input on it!
One thing we'd love to do would be a sort of general Community Day. A day where everyone gets together in a park for open-ended fun. This could take various forms--it could be a big party (like an expanded CTF), possibly with a small free-form Tavern Scene, or it could be a more quiet and calm community check-in sort of thing. This would probably be free other than the cost of food, if it were a cook-out type thing. Again, we'd love your thoughts on what kinds of thing you guys would want.
Another option is to run Wizards' Wager, Ben Schwartz's game from December that got delayed. A number of you have been asking when it'll get played--well, now's a great time for it! Due to Tom Kelly's game Nolix%Uul being at the beginning of May, it'd get pushed back to the very end--May 30th. This might be cutting a little close to final exams for some of to you, so... weigh in!
The Community Day could come before or after Wizards' Wager--May 18th, or some time in early to mid June. We might even be able to have two, if you guys really like the idea.
So, what do you guys want to do? End the Season with a bang, or a quieter, more friendly, community-oriented denouement? Email us your thoughts, or post them on the blog!
